Brasserie Dupont is teaming up with Brasserie Cambier to unveil BAL Musette, a limited-edition beer with real character. This new release will be showcased at the BAL – Bière à Lille, but it won’t be limited to the festival: the beer will also be available for trade partners who want to offer it.
Dupont x Cambier, a standout collaboration
On one side, Brasserie Cambier, a leading name in the brewing scene of northern France and among the country’s finest, crowned Brewery of the Year 2023 by Bière Magazine.
On the other, Brasserie Dupont, an iconic Belgian brewery recognised worldwide for Saison Dupont, considered by many as the benchmark saison.
Until now, Brasserie Dupont has taken part in only two collaborations, both with American brewing legends: Lost Abbey and Allagash. This makes today’s partnership something of a first with a European brewery.
From the very first meeting, the shared ambition was clear: combine the distinctive character of Brasserie Dupont’s beers with Cambier’s modern and punchy touch.
“When the opportunity to work with Brasserie Cambier came up, we didn’t hesitate. This collaboration helps us strengthen our visibility while giving us the chance to explore new flavours”
Laurent Daloze, Commercial Director at Brasserie Dupont.
A bold double rye saison
And in the glass, what can you expect?
BAL Musette is a blond beer of the double rye saison style, meaning a slightly stronger saison, sitting at 7.2% ABV.
It is brewed with barley but also rye, which plays a key part in its profile. The rye adds a rustic and spicy dimension, as well as a drier character on the palate. Already generously hopped, it also received a dry hopping with an experimental Belgian hop
Where to taste BAL Musette?
BAL Musette will be launched in Lille during the BAL – Bière à Lille festival, taking place on 22 and 23 November at Gare Saint-Sauveur.

You can enjoy it in the festival’s partner venues, as well as in any outlet wishing to offer it to its customers. BAL Musette is available to order for all trade professionals, in 44cl cans and 20L kegs. Quantities are, of course, limited.
And you’ll find it without fail at the Dupont Shop from 24 November onwards.
