Cheeses from the Brasserie Dupont in Tourpes
In 1995, already famous for its beers, the Brasserie Dupont started producing artisan cheeses.
Combining tradition with innovation, these cheeses have been created out of a real passion for authentic flavours and a quest for top-quality ingredients.
Cheeses with character, developed with savoir-faire
The cheeses are made in our own workshop, using milk that has been pasteurised on-site.
Fresh milk is brought in from local farms on the day that the cheese is going to be made. Each cheese is the result of a meticulous selection of the finest ingredients (culture, malt, hops, beer) and ageing in beer, which gives them their unique flavour.
A wide range that is more than a match for the brewery’s flavours
The range of cheeses encompasses a number of varieties, and each one offers its own distinct taste sensation. From soft cheese to semi-hard cheese, there’s something for everyone.
Our flagship products include Moinette, Saison Dupont, Carré à la Moinette and Moinette with malt and hops, which was voted “Cheese of the Year 2016” in the Fromages de Wallonie competition.
They are aged for between 3 weeks and 6 months, sometimes even as long as a year, depending on the cheese. This helps them develop their subtle aromas which are the perfect accompaniment to the brewery’s beers.
Cheese and beer, a match made in heaven
The Brasserie Dupont’s cheeses taste divine when served with Dupont beers, creating the perfect match between lactic and hoppy flavours.
Cheeses from the Brasserie Dupont are available in the brewery. They can be tasted with the beers during tours, but can also be taken away, so visitors can enjoy them with their favourite beers.
