  • Moinette Bio

    The Moinette Bio* is a top fermentation, blond beer with refermentation in the bottle.
    It was created in 1990 and is, together with the “Saison Dupont Bio”, one of the first two organic beers.
    The Moinette Bio* has the combination of malt aromas, fruitiness and fine hops.
    It is very thirst-quenchening and strikes a fine balance between mellowness, fruitiness and bitterness.
    The long refermentation in the bottle ends up in a very complex beer.
    The production is being controlled by Certisys and has the label Biogarantie®.

  • Moinette Blonde

    The Moinette Blonde is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
    Ever since its creation in 1955, this beer is considered as “the showpiece” of the brewery Dupont on the Belgian market.
    For centuries, the region where the brewery is situated, was pretty swampy, (swamp = marais (français moderne) = moëne (français ancient), so the name Moinette was linked to this “moëne region”.
    In the little village of Tourpes existed also a mill and a “Cense de la Moinette”, both belonged to the Dupont dynasty. (cense = farmstead).
    Originally, the name “Abbaye de la Moinette” was used for this beer, but since 1980 the name “Moinette” has become the commercial name.
    Coppery blond with many fine hop aromas, the Moinette Blonde is a very refreshing beer, thanks to its subtle balance between sweet, bitter and fruity.
    The selection of our yeasts gives this beer its typical aroma and taste.
    A real refermentation in the bottle, which continues for a long time in your cellar, results in a complex taste and harmonious bouquet.

  • Triomf

    On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, the « Kunstencentrum Vooruit » of Ghent wished to remind of its brewing activity of the early XXth Century. In this context, the Brewery Dupont was requested to create a beer according to their wishes.
    Given the success of this new beer during this event, the brewery started to produce it for all its consumers.
    Amber-coloured organic* beer, dry and bitter with a smoky (or more specifically peaty) note in taste and flavour. This phenolic characteristic is obtained by using a low percentage of malt specially dried with Scottish peat (whisky malt).
